A Note From Grant

It is said so many times, “Before enlightenment, we chop the wood and carry the water.  After enlightenment, we chop the wood and carry the water.”  So, what is the point in waking up and becoming enlightened in the first place.

It has been a long time since I’ve put any of my thoughts and experiences on paper.  I hope the energy of these words will radiate from these pages and you will receive it for your edification and joy.  If you read this essay while centered in the light, you will learn much more than the words on these pages could ever say by themselves.

One of the first things I learned as I was in the primary stages of my metaphysical journey was an immutable law of the universe which tells us, “Listening to the word brings a degree of knowledge.  Hearing the word brings understanding.”  It is the energy surrounding the word that contains the intent of the sender and brings learning to the receiver.  There must be an attunement between the sender and the receiver for the best communication to occur.

 Do The Homework

Hello Solomon!  It has been a while since we have connected. 

 It only seems a while to you.  Time is only a duration of awareness and where we are, all is one including time and space.

 Remember, the universe and everything in it is an illusion and the ways of perceiving it are infinite.  This is why belief is the cornerstone of the art of living in the physical realm  and they can change with additional knowledge.  Where we are, We are in the realm of truth.  Therefore, nothing moves, nothing changes.  We are always present and are always with you.

 That is a very comforting thought.  I’ve always felt your presence, but have many times felt that I’ve blocked my own attunement with you.

 We understand completely.  Of course, there is nothing about us that is not complete.  Understanding this concept alone will bring unmeasured peace and comfort to your  soul.

 Solomon, would you please speak of light?

 Light is one of those principles that has no beginning and will never have an end.  It is infinite and unmoving.  It is the light that moved you to seek council from us and from the Creator as you understand that to be.  It is the light that exists within all things.  There are other words that are interchangeable with light. Three of them are, love, truth, and consciousness.  There are others and we will address them at another time. 

 All of these principles are the same.  It is said, “Love heals all.”  It could be equally and poignantly said that “Light heals all and that Truth heals all as well.

 Solomon, It seems that when one has been so caught up in the illusion that they are blinded to telling the truth, and when the truth comes out it can be very painful and even fatal.

 When you speak of “…telling the truth” or “when the truth surfaces…”  You are speaking of facts.  Facts are permanently linked with the illusion of the physical universe and it is the ego that is hurt.  When a person or persons are existing outside of the illusion (ego) the truth brings a freedom that will never be able to be expressed in mere words.  For if it was, it would burn the ego out of existence.  Remember, our beloved, it is said, “You shall know the truth and the truth will make you free.”  Free of what, the ego.  Is this making some sense to you?

 It is indeed, it is almost more than I can comprehend at the moment.  But, the energy of what you said burns brightly within me.

 Of course!  That is because truth is Consciousness and that is more than the mind will ever be.  Consciousness, like Love and Light, is infinite and the mind is not.  One must transcend the limits of the mind to be totally conscious.  This is one of the reasons meditation is so vital in your world.

 We suggest that you contemplate this thought:  We are one in the light!  In darkness there can only be separation.  Fortunately, there is a trace of light in all things.  If this were not so, there could be no physical realm.  Therefore, the potential for Oneness is ever-present, ever becoming. 

 We realize that we have barely scratched the surface of this important and vital subject.  However we hope there is enough information to get you started in contemplating light and truth, This, in your terms, could be understood as a homework assignment.  As you do your homework, you will gain practical experience on a smaller and more understandable circumstance.  Always remember, the laws discovered in doing your homework are the same in the greater perspective.  It is the fulfillment of the venerable statement, “As above so below and as below so above.”
